This is not an art class to become a professional. This is art for the soul. In “Art for the Sake of Art,” adults of all skill levels are invited to explore creativity purely for enjoyment, self-expression, and personal reflection. Whether you’re a lifelong doodler or haven’t picked up a paintbrush since grade school, this course welcomes you into a non-judgmental, relaxed environment where the process matters more than the result. This session will focus on mixed media printmaking, incorporating photosynthesis along with other creative processes! This class will create cards and framable pieces, both large and small. There will be some surprises in store for you!

Conflict Resolution & Non-violence Program for under-served youth
For two weeks we become much more than an art center and learning environment. Meals are shared, values are modeled, and theory and design are taught, and a genuine expression is encouraged. There is a sense of security created at the art center, that fosters personal growth through positive interaction.
A start to finish concept is one transferable skill that can be used in any aspect of their life. Public Art is used as a tool to teach students about community and strength, as well as putting a face on their city.
